Une alerte Google me signale une expo de 16 oeuvres de Camille Lambert à Ballina, la ville jumelée ; ça serait une bonne idée de refaire ça aussi à l'Ecole Camille Lambert comme en 2000 à la MdBA.

During the last two weeks of July, Ballina Arts Centre will host Ondes et Miroirs, an exhibition of works by Belgian-born post impressionist painter Camille Lambert. The exhibition is presented by Ballina Arts Centre in partnership with the Athis-Mons/Juvisy-Sur-Orge town twinning committee.

L’école et Espace d’Art Contemporain Camille Lambert, which was developed on the site of Lambert’s home, combines a school of plastic arts and an exhibition space, offering a programme that focuses on current practices and specifically on children's creativity.

Sean Walsh, Director of Ballina Arts Centre, said: "We are delighted to be able to bring this exciting exhibition to Ballina. It is great to have the work of a painter like Lambert on display and it’s a wonderful opportunity for art lovers in Ballina and beyond to have a real slice of art history on their doorstep. It is one of the highlights of our year."

Ondes et Miroirs will comprise a broad retrospective of Lambert’s work – 16 pieces in all, from the overtly symbolist-influenced "Nos Ancètres Chassés Paradis" to later works such as "Le Bouquet" with its echoes of Bonnard.
